Biography

  • Trevor Moyles is no newcomer to country music. From a young age, Trevor has been slinging a guitar strap and entertaining audiences in and around the Mayo area. In Trevor's early years, Declan Nearny, Big Tom, Larry Cunningham, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens made a lasting impression on what would eventually become his life's passion. Trevor was exposed to every type of music by his family, but his heart was always lured back to the songs that were a part of the rural life he lived. Trevor is country. Now, what happened between picking up his first guitar at the age of 6, and playing on stages in front of live audiences, is no short story.

Trevor was born and raised in Crossmolina, Co.Mayo, At age six, he got his first guitar.
"Even back then I knew that is what I wanted to do," Trevor explains.

 

 

His natural ability to sing was discovered as a youth. Encouraged by his friends and family, Trevor began to feel very comfortable behind a microphone with his guitar, but it wasn't until Trevor left School that he realized the potential of his voice. Performing songs in front of audiences gave Trevor fulfillment, and would form a dream that had to be followed.

Right out of school, Trevor decided to make his first bold move towards proving himself as a singer by forming his first band with brother Jason on Lead Guitar and Steel, soon to be joined by younger brother Stuart on drums His rich vocals and easygoing manner made an immediate impression on both music fans and the other musicians.

"I just want my music to remind people of what's good in life.  "That's my passion."
